FroggyFrog
I made my friend/victim here out of assorted fibers, including hand-made felt 'organs.' Yum! When I started this, I intended to make some hand-felted 'steak.' Then, it morphed into a whole cardiovascular system. To make it even weirder, the 'heart' in the tongs squeaks when you squeeze it. It's been in a couple of shows... and each time, I caught a few ballsy people playing with it in the gallery...which made me very, very happy! Barney is next on my hit list.

Fiber
Weaving
I dyed the fibers myself and then hand-wove it on a floor loom. Considering it's only a few months old, this scarf is more well travelled than some people I know. It took a trip up to Northern California so my sister could wear it during her commencement ceremony at HSU. Then, it made it's way back down here, I over-dyed the whole thing in a fiery red, and wore it to my own graduation so that friends and family could spot me as I floated in the ocean of blah choir robes.

Drawing
Charcoal
ConteCharcoalYeah, it's a copy (and it's a bit smeary because my fixative didn't work very well). But, I did it by sight. Replica of John Singer Sargent's 1916 portrait of Mrs. Richard D. Sears
